Referrals: A valid introductory referral is required before your first visit.
- GP referrals last 12 months.
- Specialist referrals last 3 months.
- Medicare requires a current referral for you to receive a rebate.
Fees & Medicare Rebates
- We are a private specialist clinic and do not bulk bill.
- Pension or disability card discounts do not apply unless discussed prior to your appointment at the discretion of your specialist.
- Your initial consultation is the most expensive, but the Medicare rebate is higher.
- Medicare rebates are processed on your behalf.
Private Health Insurance
- Private health insurance generally cannot be used for outpatient consultations.
- It only applies to inpatient specialist services, diabetes nurse education, or dietitian consultations.We can provide a receipt if you wish to enquire with your fund.
Telehealth is available and well-suited to Endocrinology.
- Video or Phone is required to qualify for a Medicare rebate currently though this is changing as of November 1st 2025.
- Please ensure you are in a quiet, private space and not driving.

- Our specialists care for adults.
- Adolescents may be accepted on a case-by-case basis—please call to discuss.

- We maintain a waitlist and often move patients forward when earlier times open.
