Dr Fiona Inchley

Dr Fiona Inchley graduated from The University of Melbourne with Honours. She completed her General Physician training at St Vincent’s Hospital Melbourne and her specialist training in Endocrinology at The Alfred Hospital and Peninsula Health.

Dr Inchley’s areas of practice are broad, and she enjoys diagnostic and treatment challenges. As such, she sees patients with a wide variety of disorders including diabetes mellitus and endocrine disorders (pituitary, thyroid, adrenal, parathyroid, hypertension, osteoporosis, PCOS and menopause).

Her dual training in General Medicine and Endocrinology makes her uniquely placed to manage multiple complex medical problems associated with chronic disease such as the sequelae associated with type 2 diabetes mellitus.

Dr Inchley holds staff appointments at both St Vincent’s Hospital and Peninsula Health. She is very focused on education, and assists with the physician training program every year.

When not at work, Dr Inchley enjoys spending time with friends and family; and her Tabby, Husky and Samoyed. She enjoys walks with the dogs and anything associated with the beach, particularly wetting a line.

Dr Inchley approaches her patients with empathy, and builds rapport quickly. Her strong commitment to education comes through in her consultations, empowering her patients to be involved as much as possible in the decision-making process.
