Dr Kati Matthiesson

Dr Kati Matthiesson graduated from the University of Melbourne in 1990 and undertook her basic training at St Vincent's Hospital in Melbourne and St Vincent's Medial Centre in Bridgeport, Connecticut, USA.
On her return to Australia in 1998, she completed her training in Endocrinology at Monash Medical Centre including a PhD at Monash University and the University of Washington, Seattle in 2006. Her research focused on the pituitary gonadal axis.
She has continued to work within the public sector with current appointments at Western Health, Northern Health and Bendigo Health. She has been in private practice at Baldur Health since 2005.
Her current clinical interests include general endocrinology and diabetes and in particular obesity management.
