Kati is a highly experienced endocrinologist with a career spanning over 30 years across Australia and the United States. She is the Director of Baldur Health and holds current appointments at Bendigo Health with previous appointments at Monash Health and Northern Health. Her clinical expertise includes diabetes, weight management, osteoporosis, reprodutive endocrinology and hormonal health, with a specialist focus on complex endocrine conditions.
Dr Matthiesson earned her PhD from Monash University and has contributed to major national and international research initiatives in male reproductive health, hormonal contraception, and metabolic disorders. She has held academic roles at Monash University and Prince Henry’s Institute, and regularly presents at scientific and clinical forums.
Her practice is grounded in evidence-based care, collaborative multidisciplinary approaches, and a commitment to improving patient outcomes through innovation and integration.
