Dr Steven Morris completed his undergraduate training at Auckland Medical School in 1986. He trained in New Zealand as a specialist general physician before moving to the UK to undertake and complete his post-graduate endocrine fellowship at Wessex Health Board, Southampton, UK in 1997.

His research interests have been in indigenous diabetes health care improvements. He is a former Director of Endocrinology at Frankston Hospital, Peninsula Health, allied with Monash Medical Centre. He is a current Director of Peninsula Endocrine Associates. He also is part of a Sydney collaborative which runs the largest private insulin pump service in Australia.

His clinical interests include all aspects of Diabetes and Endocrinology plus the challenges of complex medical disorders and rational drug prescribing. He is well known to the Mornington Peninsula and is a frequently requested guest speaker both in Victoria and New South Wales.

Outside of work, Steven enjoys a number of active pursuits. He is a keen traveller with particular interest in the study of French and German.
